Aune Photo, LLC — Session Policies


SESSION PREPARATION

  • Please arrive ready to be photographed — dressed, prepared, and on time.
  • Hair/makeup delays count toward session time.


LATE ARRIVALS

  • Your session time begins at the scheduled start time.
  • Late arrival reduces shooting time and may limit variety of images delivered.
  • Sessions will not be extended due to late arrival.
  • If arrival is more than 20 minutes late, the session may be cancelled and retainer forfeited.


OUTFITS & CHANGES

  • Outfit changes are allowed within your scheduled session time for Senior/Individual sessions. For groups of 2 or more, outfit changes need to be arranged in advance.
  • Changing locations or outfits reduces time available for photographing.


WEATHER

  • Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather or poor lighting conditions at photographer discretion.
  • Clouds are not bad weather. They are usually preferred. Sessions will not be rescheduled for cloudy days


IMAGE SELECTION & EDITING

  • You will receive the proof images from the session as selected by the photographer.
  • Unedited (RAW) images are never delivered.
  • Editing requests outside normal style may require an additional fee.


ADDITIONAL IMAGES

  • Only delivered images are available for viewing and purchase.
  • Requests to view all images from the session cannot be accommodated.


RETOUCHING

  • Basic retouching includes color correction and minor blemish removal.
  • Requests for extensive body modification, object removal, or heavy alterations may incur a retouching fee.


ADDITIONAL COSTS AND FEES

  • Any fees incurred as part of the session are the responsibility of the client.
  • Fees can include, but are not limited to parking, entrance fees, venue photographer fees, and travel costs beyond Salt Lake and Davis counties.


GROUP PHOTOS (FRIENDS / DANCE SESSIONS)

  • Only participants with signed parent permission may appear in shared images or previews.
  • Friends without permission may still be photographed but images will be private and not included in group galleries and downloads may be unavailable.


DELIVERY TIME

Typical delivery: 1–2 weeks (possibly longer during peak seasons).

Sneak peeks are not guaranteed but sometimes provided.


IMAGE STORAGE

  • Images are archived for 30 days after delivery.
  • Please download and back up your photos.
  • Lost files after this period cannot be recovered.


PRINTING & COLOR

  • Images are edited for professional labs.
  • Printing elsewhere may result in color differences and is not guaranteed.
  • If you already know the lab you will have you images printed at, you can ask in advance what color space they prefer and I will try to accommodate those, but cannot guarantee.


RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

  • Sessions may be ended without refund if participants behave in a threatening, unsafe, or inappropriate manner toward photographer.
