FAQ

What locations can I use for my portrait session

I will travel up to 20 miles in any direction from North Salt Lake as part of the standard pricing. If the desired location is beyond that, there may be an additional charge to cover expenses incurred. Any additional pricing will be agreed upon before payment is made.

Are there any additional fees charged

There are only 3 potential additional costs for a standard session, and most are known prior to booking:
1. If there are fees incurred for the session (e.g. entrance fee to gardens, photographer fee to take pictures in a private location, etc.), those are the responsibility of the client.
2. There are additional fees for groups larger than seven people.
3. Travel expenses if the location is over 20 miles away from North Salt Lake.

There are additional costs for special orders or extensive/unique post-processing requests.

Do I have to buy a package to get the digital images

Thankfully - No. You get the full-resolution digital images as part of the session fee. This includes both the proofs and the final edited images.

Do I have to order prints through this website

I use professional labs for my prints and they consistently produce great results. However, you are able to take the high resolution images to any photography lab and order your own prints. I'm even happy to recommend both online and local labs that produce great results. One caution, however, is grocery store labs. My full resolution images typically use a professional color space that is intended for high-end equipment and some grocery store labs don't support these settings. If they don't, the prints may come out muted and even tinted or discolored.

Can I bring props (e.g. instrument, sport equipment, stuffed animal, etc.)

ABSOLUTELY!! For senior pictures, I highly encourage them. These help make the pictures more unique and represent who you are at this moment in time. Just let me know if you brought them so I can ensure we incorporate them into the pictures.
